And all the WIPs I shot along the way. I took a lot of WIPs cause this took soooooo looooongggg hahaha. I haven't done backgrounds in so long xD. I'm just putting these up here now. If anyone wants a zipped file, let me know and I'll compile one and upload it here. Otherwise i am tired and mostly laaaazzzyyy sorry lololol.

⬆ this was the initial mockup I did for the editor. Used the spiderman new york city for the sampling. At that point I was planning to just do a simple skyline.

⬆ When I started planning the actual city, I decided to do a more complicated rendering of the tokyo sky-line to include some of the more iconic places like the 109 shibuya building (one i never actually went into when I was in Tokyo cause I ran out of timeeeee @_@;;;;)

⬆tried to include the Tokyo Metropolitan building, though it totally disappeared into the other buildings lol. with this version, i could finally fit in the tokyo tower and not have it look weird af.

⬆the final version with the mockup of the title for my editor. It ended up blocking a bunch of buildings i did though lol. xD. well, at least shibuya 109 is there. even though the actual 109 now looks different (D;;;)
