This episode was originally supposed to be Kuvira's backstory episode, but the writers weren't given the budget why Nickelodeon and were told to do a recap ep instead. This is why they used so much old footage, so they could save budget for the final episodes.

2023-10-09 00:38:43 +0000 UTCsadly ptsd and stuff like that can stay forever :( korra will probably have trauma for a long while and the way itโs shown is very realistic. i like that they didnโt just abandon it and she didnโt get better as soon as she took the metal out, shows that it wasnโt just the metal and she truly has severe ptsd and it takes a while to recover even a little bit. i just love this show sm. ๐ซถ also !! i do think the recap was needed to WATCH for a few reasons but iโll explain that once youโre done with the show lol
