Transformers Tee - Slingshot
Added 2017-07-12 12:24:30 +0000 UTCSo this is nothing related to Puck, but I've been working on some ideas for Transformers shirts celebrating less prominent characters from the franchise.
Slingshot is one of my favorite Autobots. He's an aerialbot - a combiner who merges with a bunch of planes to form Superion. Unlike a lot of characters from the old show, though, he is given a fair amount of screen time and a distinct personality. The odd thing is that his personality is that of an obnoxious, egotistical and slightly amoral jerkwad. That's why I love him. And so I wanted to make a shirt celebrating that.
I doubt anyone else will ever want a shirt of Slingshot, but there you go. I wanted this shirt, so I designed it. (And certainly sales for this shirt have thus far been non-existent, so my suspicions have proven correct!)
This pic is modeled, by the way, on the more recent Slingshot toy from Takara (not the one from Hasbro) because the toy's got tons of nice-looking details and the colors match the G1 cartoon very nicely.

Memories from long ago... I never had the original toy. I lived in envy of kids who DID have all the cool combiners. So I would have totally envied you.
