Glad you enjoyed that scene! And yeah, I intentionally omitted that from Reloaded. Twice Bitten is run RAW, which means Strahd is an active and hostile antagonist from Day 1. By contrast, Reloaded approaches that antagonistic relationship with more of a slow boil—if you want players to attend the dinner at Ravenloft, for example, you can't afford for them to believe that Strahd might hurt them arbitrarily. As such, Strahd never does anything overtly harmful to the players in Reloaded until after they've already burned their bridges with him in the Heist. Hope that clears things up!

I just saw some of your Twice Bitten campaign on YouTube and it had this amazing scene where the party first met Strahd(episode 8). He charmed the party and they stood there helpless and allowed him to bite them, a fantastic, horrifying scene. I didn't notice any mention of the charming/biting in Arc C2, River Ivlis Crossroads. Was there a reason for omitting it?

Glad you like what I've got so far! I don't have an exact number, but I'd estimate somewhere between 50-70 sessions for a full campaign. And I'm currently aiming to have the guide finished by Christmas.

Two questions, do you have an expected number of sessions/hours of gameplay to complete Strahd Reloaded? My players are looking at different campaign options and tend to shy away from very long campaigns. Also, do you have an expected timeline for the completion of Strahd Reloaded? If we pick Strahd for our next campaign, we will be starting it probably around February of 2024. I love what has been written so far for Strahd Reloaded but I want to make sure that there is plenty of content available when we start to minimize the amount I will have to fill in myself. Thanks!
