Workshop Handouts & the Dungeon Master's Guide Reloaded
Added 2024-05-11 00:01:12 +0000 UTCFollowing the results of last month's survey regarding the future of the Patreon workshops, I've decided to move ahead with replacing the monthly Discord voice-chat workshops with monthly preview chapters of the Dungeon Master's Guide: Reloaded, my forthcoming DMing textbook on narrative design, game design, table management, and performance. (For more information on why I'm implementing this change, check out the post. Thank you to everyone who shared your thoughts and feedback regarding this move!)
Given the longevity of the workshops, this is not a decision I make easily. However, I'm confident that this will allow me to refocus my efforts on creating the most useful and accessible content I can for the members of the Patreon, while also building toward an eventual project that (I hope) will be useful to the community at large.
This doesn't mean, of course, that I'll stop hosting events in the Discord voice-chat channels entirely. I've begun hosting near-weekly "Streamathons" on Saturdays on the Discord, in which I live-write the next Reloaded update for 6-8 hours straight. I also plan to occasionally host impromptu workshops focused on performance skills, such as the voice-acting workshop I hosted two weeks ago (and which I plan to post on the Patreon for your use and enjoyment).
You can find all current handouts for the DMG Reloaded below. I plan to add them to the Bronze Masterpost and Discord "patron perks" channels for ease of access. I'll also be posting this month's DMG Reloaded chapter, Structure, shortly.
