Weekly Update 5/5/19

Marvel really seems to be hitting cruising altitude at the moment. Ongoing series aren't getting constant new additions; rather, we are seeing established characters get their worlds fleshed out more, and building up what is already there instead of always flitting in a new direction. This can be a positive because it brings focus on existing characters and stories, helping immerse us further in this universe. However, it can also be a negative in that some series begin to seem stale. The best Marvel writers find fresh ways of building up the characters we know and love, and we'll see some of that this year, as well as the next.
