Monty Pythonesque shenanigans ensue as the demon uses all of his wits and wiles to keep people’s grubby hands off of his angel. Those are HIS angelcakes!!!!

In the GO script book the reason why Crowley seemed so irked initially in the scene with Aziraphale at the Roman tavern in 41 CE was because they had just been at one of Caligula's orgies and was disgusted by what was going on there; so much worse than even a demon like themself could imagine. It must have been very early in the year, because Caligula was assassinated on January 24, 41 CE, and Claudius (who succeeded him) wasn't that kind of guy.
