He Loves Me Not
Added 2024-04-01 19:49:32 +0000 UTCFor the first time, I believe the final image pales in comparison to the color study...even if I managed to re-capture the same, crystalline affect, it still lacks the sense of realism I desperately covet.
Recently, I've started to wonder if it's possible for me to produce believable imagery without a one-to-one reference: it's clearly feasible, but how other imaginative realists manage is still beyond me...unfortunately, it seems all an artist can do is persist and conscientiously avoid prior mistakes: only through execution and failure will eventually find the solution...I simply hope it's found sooner rather than late...
