I have always 100% agreed with this policy. I am fine with other safety concepts depending on the firearm, but the owner of the firearm needs to clearly understand safe operation is gun defendant.

Really enjoyed this. I'd like to see more in-depth 101 video on 'safetys' and carrying glocks chambered. Something I see with new shooters/friends is high priority on a manual safety, and not fully trusting the trigger safety.

This is a great and informative video. I am a long time shooter with a variety of handguns and found some good information here to share with others. Even though I have been a long time shooter I am newer to carrying and through trial and error have found some good holsters and many holsters that do not work for me. Please consider doing a similar video for holster selection.

did a little of armed security with a sw DA/SA 9mm. wrong gun for the wrong people. I thought it great for others... single stack plasticwonder. the sw and beretta they had were WAY to complicated for untrained personal!

DAO or SA. "grew up" with DA/SA but have to say... they are tricky with the two trigger feels. not so thrilled by those anymore. never tried one but the sig DAK triggers sounded good to me. I think revolver do as good as they always did. nothing niche about them. I'd see subcompacts as niche. and then there were the oddballs... hk p7...

Great information. Could you also talk about the need to holster pocket pistols or pistols carried in a bag . I see a lot of people just putting guns loose in purses and stuck in pockets with no coverage of the trigger or hammer.

The striker fired dong safety is is realistically the best option. The counter point is that guns like the CZ-75 and Beretta 92 are so classy and good looking that the inefficiency is totally worth it. Plus I live in one of safest societies that has ever existed. The style over substance actually holds weight in the context that any gun I carry has 99% chance to never be drawn in any defense scenario. DA/SA for the win.

Chris Gustavsson

I do suspect SA only is a Duning-Kruger trap. โ€œThis thing is only beneficial for exceptional people, so I will get one because I self-identify as exceptional.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜
