New 5$ perk! Critter designs

Hello sweetlings!


I’ve been wanting to introduce a new perk for ages now and with how the tides have turned for the project, I’ve thought of just the perfect idea! :)

To help make polls more consistent/common and worth your while,  I want to try making critter designs weekly or bi-weekly, preparing a repertoire of possible future one off characters. This means a poll to decide species and the winner being turned into a sketchy colored concept.  Full res will be posted under 5$ tier ,publicly it'll be in smaller res and with links to where one could support the project too.

For transparency’s sake:  (aka blabbering lol)  

Most species polls WILL have repeat options over time since there’s got to be some level of consistency to the critters themselves ( aka. climate, environment, character role etc. ) but I’ll try to vary things up some too.

So for example, right now I’m mainly thinking of critters that’ll inhabit the same landscape our new guy does. Will throw in some odd choices too that aren’t quite in line with but will make sense for their brief cameos. But shhhh, can't spoil anything. ;p

As to why make designs public?  A lot of people say I should advertise my funding better, but also don’t wanna do it obnoxiously. I think this would make a healthy middle ground of more frequently publishing about the project and I'm hoping it'll bring some growth so I can work on pages even faster.

I think this would be a fun addition to the project and something I can still manage next to rewards and pages. I'll prepare the first few species of possible critters and post the first poll next week.   ( will likely start with 3 possible options, see how that goes and gather feedback if there should be more/less/ it works lol XD )

If you have any animal you're particularly fond of that would live in a mediterranean climate, forest, fields, ponds, streams, etc. feel free to drop your idea in the comments too! ;)  ( Please don't repeat if you saw someone already mention it! I'm hoping to see some ideas I can add to my list I haven't thought of yet! )
