YOUR PLAYER'S SMALL SMUGGLER BOAT

... and many more!

Smugglers are as old as the concept of states and tariffs themselves. They undermine the order in ports and sell their goods on the black market, providing access to items that are not freely available. Whether it's artifacts of forbidden gods or that coveted wine from a country currently at war with this kingdom's sovereign, smugglers always have their ways. They know secret paths and waterways and serve either as a swift and discreet mode of transport for paying adventurers or as a sturdy vessel for those daring enough to take the helm themselves.

This Pack Contains:

This pack contains various scenes with the same boat, offering your players a ship without necessarily granting them the flagship of a realm. This small and agile vessel is suitable for lakes, rivers, or coastal sea navigation and can be the starting point for many adventures.

Health Warning for Users with Epilepsy

When using animated Beneos Battlemaps, it's important to be aware of potential health risks, especially for individuals who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. Some of our maps contain elements that could potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. For instance, lightning effects from storm animations on certain maps simulate strobe-like flashes which could act as a trigger. If you or anyone in your gaming group has a history of epilepsy or seizures, please consult a medical professional before using these animated maps. Additionally, users should take breaks regularly while playing, play in a well-lit room, and avoid playing if they are feeling fatigued or have had little sleep, as this can increase the risk of a seizure.

Age Rating Information

Our content at Beneos Battlemaps and Sceneries has not been rated by any public rating board. However, we strive to create content that refrains from glorifying violence and brutality. While our fantasy adventure maps may contain traces of violence or depict grotesque creatures, these elements are not the focal point of our creations. In the spirit of fostering a safe and inclusive gaming environment, we self-rate our content and suggest it is suitable for users aged 12 and up. We recommend that parents review the maps themselves or adhere to our general age recommendation to determine if the content is appropriate for their children. Comments

Hey Michael, the simple and honest answer is: it would be too much work. A tracking shot in an otherwise finished level is much easier than if I had to integrate NPCs and render them separately just for the intro scenes (which are only added as a bonus because we have the scenes for the trailer videos anyway). In the interval we release and the amount of content we bring (compared to all the other map creators out there) unfortunately doesn't leave time to animate several "extras" by hand in our quality standards for these sequences.

I always find myself wondering why you don’t populate these movies with people. Like the Blood On the Vine tavern. Your movie showed it empty. It would be cool to see it with the folks mentioned in the story. Also in this boat. A couple gruff smugglers would have been fun to see navigating the boat. Just a thought.
