I think tsubasa wanted Julian to use reverse rotation so it would be possible for Eagle to absorb his power as well as his anger since he stated tsubasa would regret making him angry. And if tsubasa had won Eagle could have gained the ability to rotate left by evolving

Because if you recall nemesis was also able to absorb power in its prototype form. Also both l drago and nemesis wanted to destroy the world. And they both have almost identical history. Lastly the dark power influenced people in a similar way nemesis did king hades. So I truly believe that both nemesis and l drago originated from the black sun

And Yeahl drago did have some power surrounding it. But it would have never manifested into the dark power if good people held it. Like Ryuga said the evil people manifested that power

The same naturally happened to Ryuga cause he is the possessor of the bey. He recovered from it and purified it from its dark power.
