2023-11-04 10:46:08 +0000 UTCI can see what you mean, but I think I remember Kai being afraid of water and feeling powerless without his element back in S5. I feel like sacrificing himself for Lloyd is one thing but for Kai, giving up his element and living without it is a big fear.

2023-11-04 04:50:49 +0000 UTCI didn't like the fact that Kai hesitated on giving up his powers for lloyd considering how far kai went to save lloyd from his possession of morro. Season 5 Kai would've immediately gave up his powes for lloyd at the drop at the hat but just 2 Seasons later he now has to think about saving lloyd? kinda a inconsistent character moment for kai in my opinion.
