2023-11-13 23:52:17 +0000 UTCNot everyone knows this, but in many continuities, especially the 80s cartoon and numerous comics, the Transformers actually share their universe with GI Joe. I'd like to think that Silas and MECH were the showrunners' way of paying tribute to this without using any actual characters, since at the time this was premiering, there already was a new GI Joe cartoon that couldn't be linked to this series for legal reasons.
