question for my Star Wars fanatics...

I am both excited and intimidated, as I know that Star Wars comes with lots of lore and passionate fans.
I wanted to see what the majority opinion is for what order to watch the movies in? I've been seeing some conflicting opinions online... so -
chronological order or release order?
or... if there's yet another option, let me know!
can't wait to dive into this universe so soon!

The original trilogy is my favorite by far and the best starting point.
