Some basic info about Fate
Fate/Stay night (2006), Fate/Stay UBW, Fate/Stay Heaven's Feel
Up above is the main show of fate which is separated into 3 different routes where the mc makes different choices thus leading to different routes. Not everything gets revealed on the first route etc. and you learn more as you watch more and some things are kept in the dark or foreshadowed for a reason.
Fate/Stay Night (2006) is the first route, UBW being the 2nd and Heaven's Feel is the 3rd which is also the watch order.
However due to poor adaptation quality people don't tend to recommend fate/stay night as it you can see already from visuals it's a lot different to the others. UBW is the 2nd route and Heaven's Feel is the 3rd.
Usually people recommend going straight into UBW or watching another one called Fate/Zero which is 10 years before when these 3 routes take place. Eitherway whatever u decide to watch if u do at any point you would get spoiled for either Fate/Zero or for the other routes.
So again the intended watch order is Fate/Stay night, UBW, HF and followed by Fate/Zero (even though it takes place 10 years earlier). If you don't mind poor adaptation I whole heartedly recommend watching it in the intended order
