Hello! Paywall Update Announcement

Apologies for going MIA for a bit there, the response to my Jimbo mod was overwhelming. I needed to step away and take a small break from the internet and let things cool down as this is something I never expected. I'm sure whenever anyone starts an entrepreneurial venture, they want to be seen and have things grow, as I certainly had hoped with this Patreon. But I never expected things to blow up so fast and I wasn't prepared for it. However, of course, I'm glad you all like my mod. I think it goes without saying but I muted my showcase tweet awhile ago, so any comments, likes, retweets, etc will go unnoticed but again, I appreciate the recognition and traction it got. Furthermore, I received a LOT support on the tweet, personally, and in DMs and I truly appreciate everyone that reached out before I limited my DMs to give support and all the encouraging things you all had to say. There is a lot but I will take the time to respond to everyone, thank you again.

Now for the paywall update, after having talked a bit with another creator and taking in all the feedback I have received , I better understand the frustration with paywalled mods and the arguments against it. That is why I will now announce that, going forward, all mods I release will be able to be obtained for FREE. Mods will not solely be locked behind a paywall, they will be able to be obtained for FREE. So to reiterate:

Mods will be FREE.

HOWEVER, as I would still like incentive to keep this Patreon going, paid Patrons/Members will get EARLY ACCESS to my mods through Patreon. This also helps make sure that the mods, when publicly released, have been thoroughly playtested and vetted and are ready for public release. I feel this is a good compromise in multiple aspects. One, those who want immediate access to my newest releases will be able to do so by supporting my work, while those who are fine with waiting will eventually receive the mods as well. Two, this shifts monetization off the mods themselves. And three, as stated before, this still provides incentive for me to continue creating things you all like. The timeline between when a mod gets an early release and gets a full, free, public release is still being worked out, but rest assured, all produced mods WILL be released for free.

I understand that, at the end of the day, I, my mod, and my Patreon got all this recognition because I created something lots of people liked, and I understand my initial monetization model was a bit rocky. Hopefully, this is a solution everyone can get behind and understand.
