Marvelous Gamer - Chapter 8

AN: Hey guys.

This chapter starts with a little bit of character building, and how the introduction of Mercy and her tech into the Marvel verse can change the life of a minor character.

We also have a fight with one of the most Iconic villains of all time, and one of my favorite Marvel characters.

The next chapter of Lily's Journal should be out tomorrow or thursday.

Hope you guys enjoy this one.

Chapter 8

"So, How exactly did you three figure out how to fix Alicia's eyes?" Emma asked. We were in the Baxter building at the moment, and Alicia was finally taking off the bandages from her eyes after the surgery.

Ever since we met them, Angela has been working with Reed and Sue to figure out a way of using her nanobiotics to help cure Alicia's eyes. Mercy's tech could bring someone back from the brink of death, but it still had problems with permanent injures, something that was clear in canon Overwatch with Genji and his many prosthetics. But with the help of the two geniuses, Angela was able to improve on her formula, and they had performed a nanobiotics assisted surgery to fix Alicia's eyes, and now it is the time to see if it worked.

As far as I know most of the work was done by Angela and Sue, Reed only helped with a little of it. Sue is a genius when it comes to biology, so she can understand Angela's work better than probably anyone in this world. The only one I can think that could probably understand it better is Nathaniel Essex, but I definitely don't want to meet Mr. Sinister, and I hope Angela also never meets him.

Although, I will probably end up meeting someone even worse in only a few days.

There is a hellfire gala in only a couple of weeks, and I was invited for it a long time ago. I know the invitation only came because I have Emma working for me, and I'm pretty sure it is because she is a Frost, not because they know she is a mutant. Hellfire might be in the process of being taken over by mutants, but it is still a rich people club, and as such, it is something that 'old money' like Emma will always be invited to. Since Emma is registered as working for me I was invited to it, but the invitation was quite unsubtly hinting that Emma should be my plus one.

It is good that I will have an in with hellfire, even if Emma never joins them, but I'm still terrified of the people I will meet there. I wanted more time to prepare, I'm not nearly strong enough to go up against the likes of Sebastian Shaw, much less Selene, but I will have to make due.

Shaw is definitely in my kill list, the guy causes too much problems to leave alone, and that is just his X-Men First Class version, the one from the comics can be even worse, his power was a little nerfed in the movies. The Shaw in this world seems to be based on the comics, so I'm keeping an eye on him as soon as I find out how. I need a hacker, and I need one fast. Sure, Emma can keep an eye on the guy with her telepathy as long as he is in the city, and her range will probably increase in the future since she is still getting used to her powers, but I don't want to ask her to do it, she is already doing enough for me. Keeping an eye on others through electronic means should be easy enough if I have a good hacker in my team, as long as that someone isn't Tony Stark, Reed Richards or Victor Von Doom.

Then there is Selene.

Probably one of the most powerful people in the planet, even if we take away her powers, just the fact that she has lived over 17,000 years makes her extremely dangerous, that much experience is a super power all on its own, add that to her magic and you have someone truly terrifying. My best bet at the moment is to not antagonize her, in the comics, Selene mostly minds her own business. Sure, she fought against the X-Men and a few others on occasion, but she also helped sometimes, I don't remember if it was in Krakoa or a fan fiction, but I'm sure I read something in my previous life in which Selene was one of the good guys, or at least non-antagonistic, so it is possible to have a cordial relationship with her.

But if I do end up having to fight her, my best bet at the moment is to look for Strange and ask for his help. I don't even know how powerful the Strange from this world is, I just know that he returned to NY this year, so his apprenticeship with the Ancient One has ended, but there is a major difference in the early powers of comics Strange and movies Strange. I would need a powerful magical to fight against Selene, so if Strange is the comics one, then he wouldn't have the power to fight her, not right now, comics Strange isn't as powerful as movies Strange right at the end of his apprenticeship. If Strange is not enough, then I can only think of three magic users who could fight Selene at her strongest, The Ancient One, who may or may not be dead, Agatha Harkness, which would be a nightmare to find since there is no Franklin Richards in this world, so she isn't a nanny working for Reed and Sue, and Wanda Maximoff, if she is the comics version, but if she is, then she is probably with Magneto at the moment, and she also would be a whole other problem. Comics Scarlet Witch is utterly terrifying, I still remember reading house of M in my previous life, and how she de-powered hundreds of thousands of mutants with just three words.

If magic on magic didn't work against Selene, then I would have to go to the extreme and try to get the help of the girl currently downstairs. I would probably need to somehow help Jean awake and control the Phoenix force in her, but a Jean with full control over her Phoenix side is by far the most powerful being on earth. The only problem with that option is that Jean never managed to control the full extent of her Phoenix powers without going crazy and trying to destroy the world, at least, I don't remember if she ever did. But if she did managed to control it, she could easily defeat Selene. Phoenix Jean going all out could destroy entire solar systems in minutes, so she could easily defeat a 17,000 year old mutant and sorceress.

As for what reason Jean is in the Baxter building, that would be Emma's doing.

I was really surprised when those two started talking to each other, as far as I know, they don't really like each other in the comics, and nothing I have seen in this world made me believe it would be any different here, but they ended up striking a weird friendship. Sure, they spend most of the time roasting each other, I have lost count of how many times Jean called Emma a slut and insinuated that Emma was sleeping with me, and Emma responded saying that Jean was just jealous, seeming to pick up on the fact that Jean has been flirting with me since we met. But it is mostly light hearted teasing, and they seem to care for each other, which is honestly a little terrifying.

It is a good thing that those two hate each other in the comics, because the two of them working together is an almost unbeatable combo. Jean's raw power with Emma's finesse would make for the best telepath in the world, Xavier wouldn't last a minute against them. I'm glad that I made recruiting Emma a priority, having her on my side means I don't have to deal with those two as enemies.

I don't exactly expect to fight against Jean, but I still have to prepare for it. I don't like Xavier, and I know he can go villain, I don't remember the name, but I have read a comic about it once. Although, I'm not thinking about the professor going villain at the moment, Reed and Sue have been fighting a lot, so I'm lot more worried about Reed going full Maker on me.

"It only took a few days for us to figure out how to use the biotics. I know Angela had troubles using them like this before, but it was only a matter of using them in a different way." Sue responded Emma's question. "It took some time for us to test everything and make sure it was safe for humans, but once we did, it didn't take long for us to perform the surgery on Alicia." She added.

"But how exactly were you able to do it?" Emma asked again. She was always asking questions since she met Reed and Sue, and they were more than happy to respond them all. Emma is still thinking about what she wants to study once she starts ESU next semester, but she is jumping between an education focused on business, and one more devoted to science. Reed seems to be trying to steer her towards science, recognizing the brilliant mind Emma has and trying to encourage a new scientific genius.

"It was mostly about going at it in a different way." Reed said, his hands busy working on the bandages covering Alicia's eyes. "Angela had trouble with something similar before because she was trying to solve the problem while still connected to the nervous system. We had to isolate the eyes, severing all connections to the rest of the body, including the brain, and only them we started to work on them. Doing it this way was a lot easier to solve the problem." He added.

It made some sense to me, I'm pretty sure I remember reading something in my previous life that said that the human body is just a biological machine. And I know enough about machines to know that you don't fix something while it is still connected. I'm a little surprised that Angela never thought of doing something like this, although, to be fair, the only time I know her tech didn't work perfectly was with Genji, and his situation was a little different from Alicia's.

"I have tried something like this before, it ended up not working, and the test subjects contracted super cancer." Angela said. And I'm pretty sure I remember something from Overwatch canon saying that Mercy was worried about her tech causing 'super cancer', I guess now I know how that happened.

"What do you mean by super cancer?" Emma asked, and I could hear a hint of fear in her voice, which probably meant that she is scared out of her mind. Emma has a lot of control over her emotions, it comes with being a telepath, or maybe a rich heiress.

"Extremely aggressive cancer, capable of killing someone in days, maybe hours. It was actually fascinating to read about it." Sue said, and I could see the fear growing in Emma. Even Ben looked a little afraid, and it was almost impossible to scare the big guy. Although, maybe his fear was about the surgery not working, he was looking at Alicia, and Reed, who was still working on her bandages without even blinking.

"I'm honestly just glad I managed to catch that before I started human trials, it would be a nightmare to give someone cancer that was certain to kill them, when I was trying to heal them." Angela said, and I could almost feel how relived she was. Knowing her, it would actually be a nightmare and something she would always blame herself for. "I saw cancer like that in a human once, but I'm pretty sure it was due to a weird interaction of his mutant healing factor with the cancer he already had before he gained his powers." She added.

That made me pause a little because there is only one mutant I know that fits the description, but when did Angela met Deadpool? I know she hardly leaves the house, so it probably is something from those implanted memories from the ROB. I really need to talk to her about those because it is starting to become ridiculous. I need to know who she knows, how those memories were implanted in her mind, and if she knows anything that could be dangerous for us. I have a lot of meta knowledge, but she could have some that not even I have, I don't know how the ROB does things.

"Now, open your eyes slowly, Alicia. If you open them too fast you could end up damaging them again." I heard Reed say, and we all turned to look at Alicia.

She slowly opened her eyes, flinching a little whenever she looked at something bright. It took almost two minutes for her to fully open her eyes, but when she did a large smile appeared on her face. We waited in silence as she looked around the room, taking everything in. She spent a particularly large amount of time looking at us, approaching all of us and using her hands like she used to, probably comparing how accurate her touch was to how we actually look. Johnny was second to last, and she flicked him on the nose once she was done with him, but then she looked at Ben.

"There's my handsome man." Alicia said, making us all laugh. Ben was also laughing, but I could see how relieved he was. The guy was dreading the moment Alicia would take of the bandages, worried about her leaving him once she saw how he looked. He didn't stop worrying no matter how many times Reed, Johnny or I tried to say she would never leave him.

"We will give you two some time. Call us if you feel anything, Alicia." Sue said, and Alicia nodded her head without taking her eyes of Ben.

We walked downstairs, leaving the two alone. Walking into a room with a few comfortable looking bean bag chairs, we saw Jean, Kitty, Rogue and Jessica, who looked to be gossiping, which made me shiver in fear. Jessica knows enough about me to give those girls some good blackmail material.

"So, he actually managed to last that long with you two? I thought you said the redhead is 'sex on legs'." I heard Jean say and groaned a little. Just what I need, a girl who has been weirdly obsessed with me since we met, knowing about that threesome. I already had enough trouble with Natasha now thinking she had an in with me, and asking me all sorts of 'innocent' questions that I had no reason to lie. I definitely don't need Jean thinking I have a thing for redheads.

"You better not answer that question, Jess." I say, interrupting Jessica who was about to respond.

"Dude, I still don't know why you're so annoyed by it. Natalie is hot as fuck." Johnny said, shaking his head a little.

"She creeps me out." I say. Not telling him the real reason is because she is a spy for the most paranoid man in the world.

We move towards the empty chairs, there isn't enough for all of us, so I end up sharing my bean bag with Emma, who just smirks towards Jean and seats on my lap, drawing a furious look from the redhead. I know Emma is only teasing Jean, but she is still an unbelievable hot woman seating on my lap, so little Isaiah immediately wakes up. I know Emma felt it because she looks at me and her smirk gets flirtier, she then wiggles around in my lap.

"So, did it work?" Jean asks once we are all seated, still sending a nasty glare towards Emma.

"It did. We still need to conduct a few more tests, but Alicia should have perfectly working eyes right now." Angela responds.

"She is probably working on her geology right now. Getting intimate with some rocks." Johnny says, and Sue immediately smacks him in the back of the head.

His joke still made almost all of us laugh. Kitty has a disgusted look on her face, and Jean isn't doing much better, But Rogue seemed to like the joke, and Jessica already knows Johnny enough to expect a joke like that from him. Angela is shaking her head, but I still see a small smile, and Reed seems to already be distracted thinking about something else, I'm not even sure he heard the joke. Even Emma snickers a little, she has her whole 'elegant lady' thing going on, but she still enjoys some trashy humor.

"Any news from the professor?" Emma asks once everyone stops laughing.

Xavier is currently in Emma's apartment, working on her brother, Christian. It is their first session, and I don't know how Emma managed to drag her brother all the way from Boston without her dad or her sister interfering. But Christian is here now, and hopefully Xavier will be able to help him with his issues, I know how much he means to Emma. As far as I know, his drug abuse started because the guy was depressed, mostly because Emma and Cordelia were the only ones that accepted his sexuality. Which was a little weird to me, so what if the guy is gay? It is his life, he does whatever and whoever he wants, it shouldn't matter to anyone, much less his family.

You don't need to go to pride parades with him if you don't want to, just like it is his life, his choice, it is also your life, your choice. But apparently their dad didn't think that way, and he certainly didn't like when Emma told him that exact thing. It was one of the things that made Emma flee from home.

"Nothing yet, but he should be done soon." Jean responded, still glaring at Emma. The friendship those two have is certainly weird, anyone that sees the look Jean is giving Emma would think that they are mortal enemies, but it is only a matter of time for Jean to do something that makes Emma give her the same look. Their friendship is based on relentless teasing.

"So, Isaiah. I heard you like redheads." Jean says, giving me a flirty look and making the other laugh. She is certainly bolder than I thought, when one thinks Jean Grey, aggressively pursuing someone is not what comes to mind. Although, I still think there is something going on with her phoenix detecting my system and pushing her towards me, a cosmic entity like the Phoenix can probably detect my system, and not knowing about it, it would probably try to learn more.

I'm saved from having to answer when Jean suddenly gets an intense look on her face, and she isn't the only one. I know there is some mental communication going on because Angela and I are the only ones that seem confused, our minds are protected by the game, so telepathy works on us. A furious looks briefly appear on Emma's face, but it goes away just as quick, her face returning to one of concentration, she then nods her head.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Magneto is attacking a military base in Long Island, the professor asked if we could go there and help fight him." Jean responded, her tone no longer flirty when talking to me.

"And what was that angry look, Emma?" I asked again, trying to understand what set her of, even if briefly. Emma isn't one to get angry for nothing.

"Xavier wanted us to pick him up and leave my brother alone." Emma responded, and I understood the reason for her anger. Christian was pretty much the only family member that Emma still was close to, she also still talked to Cordelia, but she always says that her younger sister is an annoying brat.

Alarms started going off. I looked towards Reed, Sue and Johnny to see what it was about. Johnny and Susan had a annoyed look on their faces, while Reed was no longer looking like he was lost in thought, he was focused and was already rising from his bean bag, moving towards a computer terminal.

"Well, I don't think we are going to be able to help you." Sue said. "Seems like we have our own little crisis here." she added.

"What are those alarms for?" Angela asked.

"I put up an alarm system connected to our satellites, it is constantly looking for Victor, but it only gives the alarm when he enters the US. It seems he is coming right here." Reed said from his computer.

"If he is coming here we won't need the car." Johnny said, and Sue nodded her head in agreement.

"Take our car and go deal with this Magneto, we will be fine on our own." Sue said, and Reed voiced his agreement as he stopped working on the computer and walked out of the room.

"Isn't your car a flying car? No one here knows how to drive a flying car." Rogue pointed out.

"I know how to drive it, Johnny showed me how." I said, and silently thanked Johnny for those driving lessons we had last week. "Do we know what the situation is like in Long Island?" I asked.

"Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Cyclops and Nightcrawler are there already. But they are outnumbered." Jean responded. "Magneto has Mystique, Sabretooth, Quicksilver, Blob, Toad, Avalanche and Pyro with him." She added, making my mind almost stop working. That is a weird team, and the fact that Quicksilver is there but Scarlet Witch isn't is a little worrying, but this kind of numbers advantage in a mutant fight can be dangerous.

"Alright, Emma, Jess, I want you two to stay here and help the Fantastic Four. I expect Doom to have some type of defense against telepaths, but it is possible that he doesn't, so you could end the fight pretty quickly, Emma." I say, earning a nod from Emma. I also don't want her in a fight against Magneto when I can see that she is clearly worried about her brother.

"And Jess, I want you to stay close to Alicia. She doesn't have powers, so we need someone to defend her." I added, and Jessica also nodded her head. I can see that she wants to fight, but she can see the logic in keeping someone close to Alicia in this situation, and she likes Alicia enough to not complain about it.

"Alright, you three are coming with Angela and I, but I want you all to stay as safe as possible, especially you two." I say, pointing towards Rogue and Kitty. "It would be better if you all had some range on your abilities, but only Jean has." I added.

The girls nodded and we all said goodbye to the ones that would be staying. Moving towards the FF flying car I can't help but feel nervous, I'm going out to fight one of the most powerful men in the world, who just happens to be one of my favorite marvel characters. I have to contain the fanboy in me and remember that this is a real Magneto, one that can kill me within seconds if he wants to. I'm almost having a panic attack when Angela grabs my hand and holds it. I smile at her for the support and we continue to walk in silence towards the next battle.

X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X

I land the car behind a hill, away from the fighting. We could see the fighting from the air, and it looks pretty bad for the X-Men. Storm is keeping Magneto busy, but the number advantage took its tool and Cyclops was on the ground, probably out of the fight.

"We will approach carefully. Shadowcat, I want you to stay in your intangible state, see if you can help take down Quicksilver." I start giving instructions, and the girls seem to be willing to listen to me. I can understand Mercy doing it, the system makes her loyal to me, but the fact that the X-girls are also willing to listen to me is a little surprising.

"Rogue, once Quicksilver is down, drain as much as you safely can from his power, then go after Pyro and Avalanche. The speed should hard counter Pyro, Avalanche could give you some troubles, but Jean and Storm could help you with him." I say, and Rogue nods her head.

"Marvel Girl…" I fail to contain my snickering at her name, and Jean gives me a nasty look.

"I know my name is bad, alright. I'm working on a new one." Jean says, in a tone that says how much teasing she had to endure because of her name. We also ignore the snickering from Kitty and Rogue.

"I need you to forget your telekinesis, telepathy is the name of the game today." I say. The strategy I made while driving was simple, yet should be devastating to the enemy. I was also pretty sure that telepathy was never used this way in canon marvel, comics or movies, which was a little surprising.

"I can't use my telepathy to put them to sleep, I don't know how to do that yet." Jean says, frowning a little. I can almost see how her mind is working, comparing herself to Xavier and Emma, they could put hundreds of people to sleep at the same time without much trouble, but Jean doesn't have that kind of control. Jean is vastly more powerful than both of them, and because of that raw power her control and finesse is inferior to the other two telepaths, but what we need right now is power, not control.

"I don't want you to put them to sleep, what I want you to do is connect our minds, preferably a one way connection. Do you think you can do that?" I ask, and Jean nods her head. "Then I want you to do it. It should give us a rudimentary form of battlefield pre-cognition. We should be able to predict what the enemy will do before they do it. Something like that could make this battle pretty easy." I add, and Jean seems to understand, judging by the glint in her eyes.

Mercy gives me a respectful nod, which actually makes me feel pretty good. Both Soldier 76 and Ana are portrayed as effective commanders, and she has a lot of experience in the battlefield, fighting under their command. Seeing her visible approval of my plans means a lot to me.

"You know what to do, Mercy. Cyclops is already down, so he should be your priority. Stay out of range, Rogue should be able to bring the injured to you once she access to Quicksilver's power. You can also stabilize the enemies, if any of them suffer a life threatening injury, but don't heal them completely." I give my instruction to Mercy, and she nods her head again.

"I will be helping Wolverine fight Sabretooth and Mystique." I say what I'll be doing, not that it interferes with their work, but it still seems like the right thing to do. "Now, Let's move." I add, and we start moving towards the fight.

Right when we reach the top of the hill, a message appears in front of me, and it almost makes me jump in shock.

(Quest)

Defeat World level boss Magneto, and his team.

Bonus: Limit collateral damage.

Reward: 100 credits.

Bonus Reward: 100 credits -1 for each $1 million in damages.

That is the biggest reward I have ever seen. It also raises a few of questions. Why is Magneto called a World level boss? And what other kind of bosses are there? I really hate the fact that my system is so messed up that even the tutorial was lacking. There seems to be core mechanics that I don't know about, and the ROB doesn't seem to want to tell me anything about it. I know I brought this on myself for annoying the ROB, and now he is doing his best to annoy me.

I take my eyes away from the distraction that is the game window, and look at the battle in front of me.

The battle has moved from the military base it started, and is now being fought in a nearby park. It was good for me because it gave me a nice place to land the car, behind the hill, but it also puts the few civilians around in a lot more danger.

At the foot of the hill, Storm is locked in a fierce battle with Magneto. He is trying to hit her with various pieces of metal, but Storm is able to deflect them with her winds, a mini hurricane forming around her. Storm is trying to return fire with bolts of lighting, but Magneto has some kind of force field protecting him. So their battle is pretty even, they are doing more damage to the environment, than to each other.

Wolverine seems to be trying to keep both Sabretooth and Mystique busy, which obviously isn't going well for him, and only his healing factor is keeping him in the fight. Sabretooth is pretty even on skill with him, and Mystique is also another expert fighter, fighting two on one against this kind of enemy is impossible for Logan.

Colossus seems to be doing well against Blob. At a first glance, the fight seems pretty even, but a closer look shows that Blob doesn't have the firepower to really hurt Colossus, while the Russian man seems to be slowly injuring the fat guy.

Nightcrawler is in a rough spot. Quicksilver is harassing him pretty heavily, and his teleportation isn't fast enough to deal with the speedster. Kitty should be able to help him, and the two of them together will certainly be enough to deal with Magneto's son, but Kurt will probably need some healing shortly after.

Cyclops is on the ground with some pretty severe looking injures, but thankfully alive. Mercy should be able to put him back together in a minute or two.

On the opponents side, Toad is out cold. It seems Cyclops managed to hit him with one of his eyebeams. Avalanche is on the background, creating unstable terrain everywhere and disrupting the footing of the X-Men. It isn't a problem for Storm since she is fighting Magneto in the air, but it is causing issues to the others.

We reach the foot of the hill and Mercy crouches down next to Cyclops, which makes me almost have a nerdgasm on the spot.

"Do the thing, do the thing!" I say, and Mercy looks at me with exasperation.

"Really?" She says, in a tired tone, but there is a hint of humor in it. I just look at her in expectation, making her sigh a little. "Fine!" She says.

"Let's get you back in the fight!" Mercy says, her hand glowing in a soft, golden light as she touches Cyclops.

"She did the thing." I say excitedly, and Jean, Kitty and Rogue give me confused looks. They just don't know how cool that was, I have seen real life Mercy say one of her iconic lines, I can die a happy nerd now.

"Get Cyclops to target Avalanche once he is in fighting condition. I'm going to help Wolverine. Jean, connect us." I say, and make my way towards the fight without waiting for an answer.

As I run towards the fight I can feel the moment Jean connects all of our minds, and I can see the difference it makes on the fight. It doesn't change much in the battle between Storm and Magneto, the master of magnetism is protected against telepaths by his helmet, but the rest of the fight immediately changes. Colossus is hitting Blob with every punch, and Nightcrawler isn't getting hit as much by Quicksilver, but the biggest change is with Wolverine. The Canadian is actually able to fight against his two opponents and actually land hits instead of just defending himself.

The fight changes even more when I finally reach them. I attack Mystique with a low kick, but she manages to raise her leg just enough to dodge it. She turns towards me, giving me her full attention and leaving Sabretooth do deal with Wolverine alone.

"And who are you?" The blue woman asks.

"You can call me Guardian." I answer, dodging a kick she tries to sneak in.

"This fight has nothing to do with you, this is a mutant issue." She says, grunting a little when I land a punch on her abdomen.

"I don't think there are mutants in the military." I say, but I know there is a reason they attacked the military base. Magneto isn't one to do random bouts of terrorism.

"Those animals were conducting experiments on our kind. They were helping the church of humanity, they deserve it." Mystique says, and I have my answer. Stryker was probably using his military contacts to conduct experiments on mutants, probably trying to recreate the weapon x program.

"And if you kept the fight inside the military base I wouldn't be fighting you. But look around, there are civilians injured because of your attack; that makes it my business." I say, landing another punch, this time on her ribs.

And that is the truth. I can guess what those guys were doing to the mutants inside that base, and I'm pretty sure that it was a crime against humanity. I have no problem with Magneto and his brotherhood killing those kinds of monsters.

We continue to fight, this time with no banter. I can already see that without Jean's help I would lose this fight. Mystique is a better fighter than I am, and while I'm stronger, she is more agile, probably a side effect of her power, changing her shape in subtle ways to allow her to make movements that are otherwise impossible to make.

But with Jean connecting our minds, it becomes impossible for her to win. She can't hit me, I know every attack she is going to make as soon as she thinks about it, and I can see the patterns in her defense, which means that I can hit her pretty consistently. I end the fight with a punch that connects with her jaw, knocking her out.

I look around and realize that I was so focused in my fight, that I didn't see the others finish their own fights. The only enemy standing is Blob, and he seems to be about to fall to the combined strength of Colossus and Wolverine.

Magneto is having problems as well, now that Jean and Cyclops can join Storm. Magneto is strong, but fighting against three strong opponents can give him troubles. Storm connects a good lightning bolt, and it shatters Magneto's shield, allowing Jean to hit him on the shoulder with a large rock she picked up with her telekinesis.

The moment he is hit, Magneto seems to realize that the battle is lost. He gathers all of his team, sheets of metal floating with unconscious mutants on top, and them he leaves without saying anything, which is pretty terrifying since I know how much a drama queen he is in the comics. He always needs to have the last word, so him leaving like that is probably because he is really pissed off, and a pissed off Magneto is never a good thing.

But for now, I just go towards Angela and give her a hug. We just fought against one of the most powerful men in this world and won pretty easily, so I want to celebrate this win. I will leave the worrying about a pissed off Magneto as a problem for to future Isaiah.

AN 2: The fight with Magneto and his brotherhood was a little too easy because Isaiah used telepathy in a way that most don't think about using it.

But now he has a pissed off Magneto after him. That certainly won't backfire on him, right... or maybe it will.

I will see you guys in the next one.
