Payments disabled on games posted on itch.io
Added 2025-08-02 11:30:32 +0000 UTCDue to ongoing issues with censorship from payment processors—reportedly involving Stripe (an EU- and US-based company) and its partner banks—I’ve had to disable all direct sales on itch.io. This was necessary in order for my games to be reindexed and discoverable again.
As a result, you can no longer purchase individual games through itch.io. If you'd like to support my work or access my games, the only option for now is through my Patreon. I understand not everyone wants to create a Patreon account—or even an itch.io account, for that matter—and I truly get that. But at this point, it's the only viable way for me to sustain my work.
It's frustrating, and I wish it weren’t this way. I hope itch.io's team can find a solution to this problem soon.
