The Village of Jarlang
Added 2019-08-22 11:54:56 +0000 UTCThe town of Jarlang is located on the eastern shores of Rasfadal, between the town of Burnard to the north and Anfel to the south. It's a small town that mostly focusses on fishing. Lately, however, the fish in the area seem to be dying, with no obvious cause. What the villagers have noticed is something about the Stones of Gargal. Their lights don't shine as bright as they used to during the night.
Below the town is a small network of caverns. The villagers mostly leave those caverns alone. They believe that a magical being lives there and protects the village from evil. At night a blue light shines from the caverns. Whimsical bugs can be seen flying around the cave entrance.
On the stones of Gargal you can see marks, but only at night, when they reflect blue light, similar to the light from the caverns.
Recently, the light has started to fade. At the same time that this started all the fish in the area started dying. No one knows why or how, but the people are sure it has something to do with the fading light.
Maybe someone could venture into the caverns to see what is going on there. It might save the people of Jarlang.
