The Throne Room

The rulers of Burbry have always been flamboyant, extravagant and posh. In the days of the empire this was done to represent the greatness of their realm. Now it is a desperate attempt to maintain an image of power and prosperity.

The kingdom of Burbry is often referred to as the Remnant of the Old Empire, but another nickname is 'The Kingdom of Facades'. Nobles is Burbry spend most of their time holding and attending great feasts and balls. They live isolated from the common people and in their bubble they live a life where they pretent there is nothing to worry about.

They often showcase their military might to the public in great parades. A perceptive eye, however, might notice that this soldiers' uniforms, while beautiful and impressive, are ceremonial at best. The Burbric military is poorly trained and hardly a match for a skilled force.

Still, with all that in mind, this throne room is impressive. The light comes in from behind the king, almost as if it radiates from him. While the interior of the room is mostly dark, it feels very bright and even warm. Don't let this fool you though, stepping out of line is not tolerated in this room, where the lords play pretend more than anywhere else.
