Another month and another update! I think it has been a great month so let's take a look at what happened!

Mirrouse, ancient the city of the Burbric Kings. Build and on shores of Lake Ryrmon by the first Burbric Emperor, the city 15 centuries old. It is the home of the court of King Auder XI, who resides in Castle Sassent, located on an island where the king does not have to meddle with the affairs of peasants.
The Kingdom of Burbry is known for the great gap between its sober, hard working peasants, and the lavish and careless nobles. If there is any place in the kingdom where this image is confirmed it would be Mirrouse. The rich live in their castles and mansions, well cut off from the peasants that live at the edge of the city, or in the villages around it.
Mirrouse is famous for its Lawyers' Guild. The gap between the rich and poor is large, but the burbric people hold justice in high esteem. The lawyers' Guild makes sure that justice comes to everyone, not just the ones who can afford it.
There is also the Velvet Guild, a guild dedicated to overseeing the production and distribution of velvet, a favorite luxury of the burbric people, throughout Burbry. However, there is a rumor that there is more to this guild. Some believe that is a cover the the king's spy network, or a criminal organization. Maybe both...
Other location of note are the University of Mirrouse, which claims to have records dating back to the early days of the empire, covering all kinds of knowledge, both magic and mundane. besides that there are several inns, taverns and brothels, and of course the Grand Arena, where the city hosts spectacular events!

There are many shops, stalls and and taverns along Mayne Street in Twyrif, and you can spend a good day going through all of them. One of taverns that the town is known for is "Deen's Delicious Diner, Inn & Tavern".
Deen's Delicious Diner is known for its awful meals. The bread is hard and dry, and the meat is like chewing on leather. Something that is good about the tavern is the ale. What the tavern lacks in food it makes up for in drinks
In addition to that there are several beds available Deen's Delicious Diner. The rooms range from large shared rooms with beds lined up, to luxurious rooms with a dedicated sleeping and sitting area, including a warm fire.
Room 6 is one of the simpler rooms It contains two beds and a desk. What special about this room is the ladder leading up to the tower. The hatch to the tower is always locked, and most people don't bother breaking it open, but the ones that do tell varying stories.
Some say that the tower contains beautiful items and feel a strong presence with them when they enter the tower. Others say it's just an empty room with some chests and barrels.
Anyways, that doesn't matter, because, even if you ended up in Room 6, you wouldn't break that lock. Or would you?

Every town has one and Twyrif is no exception. Along Mayne Street you'll find Stouwart's Sweet Swords, a well renowned blacksmith in the city. Stouwart is a talented smith and over the years has established a name among adventurers. He delivered fine craftsmanship for a reasonable price. It is said that he even collaborates with Myrden, an alchemist and owner of Myrden's Wonders across the street. Together they create weapons with magical effect. But it's hard to determine if that's true. The efficiency of weapons cannot be measured in numbers after all.

We started off this theme by doing a nice street map and after that we started working on some of the interior designs for shops along the street. Four of them are now done, and as we're about to move on to a next theme I thought it would be cool to compile them into a single map.
This map shows the mapped locations on the city street map, with layers for each floor.

The poll results are in and we'll be exploring some cities and towns this month! I have already prepared one village which will be publish tomorrow! It's the Village of Veryne, a small town that is struggling with a werewolf plague.

That's just one that I have planner so far but we'll be exploring several, ranging from larger towns to small hamlets.

This month I have added a lot of new stuff to the World Anvil page. You can view the timeline of the campaign that I'm running in the setting. I'm working on writing out all the sessions in detail, but that's a slow going process, so it'll take a while before I'm caught up.
On top of that I have expanded several articles and off course every town that is published this month will have it's own article!
I was also wondering what you thought of the new theme selector. In the past it had always been options like 'Desert, Forest, Swamp' etc. This time I went for options like 'Cities & Towns, Kingdoms & Regions' etc. Which kind of poll do you prefer?
Well, that will be it for this update! As always: Happy gaming!
