The Village of Komico

In the Valley of Undorra lies the village of Komico, a small settlement nested in the southern stretches of the Domart Mountains. It's an isolated town, but has two things to offer: hot springs and access to a path through the Domart Mountains and into the Kingdom of Domari.

While the village is mostly secluded, and far removed from the rest of the kingdom, it sees a fair amount of traffic for two reasons. Its hot springs are believed to have cleansing properties. Long ago the springs were blessed by Mindor, the God of Healing, and Meandra, the Goddess of Health. These days the springs are sought after by folk who need healing.

The second reason why some people travel to Komico is for the paths that lead through the Domart Mountains. These mountains are treacherous and nearly impossible to pass through. various paths lead to from one side to the other, but only a few would be considered safe. The paths from Komico are generally believed to be the safest ones and form a safe passage between Elmara and Domari. But beware, they are also the best guarded.

Excelent work!

The arches could also have a religious or spiritual purpose, keeping evil spirits out of the village. In between the stonework are spikes poking out to catch the spirits stopping them from moving freely though the village. I do take individual orders. You can do that either by becoming a supporter at the $10 King Tier. After 30 days you get to request a map and you will be added to the queue and your map will be made and posted on the Patreon feed, including variations for the different tiers. Alternatively you can hire me to make a map directly for you. Feel free to send me a DM if you're interested!

Yep. It does look pretty, as all your maps. So the houses have arches, for whatever "in-world reason" ;-). Probably the city is hundreds of years older than its inhabitants and no one alive knows the original meaning of these arches, called dragon gates. As long as you have an answer for the players, you have an answer. Thank you and I look forward to many more maps! (Do you also take individual orders?)
