The Orcs of Murr have lived on the shores region of the same name for as long as anyone can remember. The land used to be covered in a soft blanket of greenery and wildlife. In the center of the now gone Murr Forest was the home of the orcs. In the center of their home they kept a large fire, the Eternal Fire of their gods. This fire must burn forever or they will suffer the wrath of their gods.
To keep the fire burning the orcs cut down the forest around them with little regard for nature. Over decades the forest was reduces to small patches of woodland and after a handful of centuries only a scattering of trees and thickets remained. With the Murr Forest gone the orcs turned to other sources of fuel for the Eternal Fire. In the west they have started cutting trees is Harewood, domain of the Count of Hareton. Orcs harbour a sense of hostility is disrespect to all other humanoid races, causing a heated conflicts with everyone they come in touch with. In the south a similar conflict has arisen, though much more fierce on both sides. The orcs have turned their attention to the forest to their south, home of the Feylininwe, the Wood Elves of the Feylin Forest.
Back in the camp is a conflict of a whole different nature going on. Inkathu, Chief of the orcs, is looking to establish trade and peaceful relations with the people around the Murr Shore to secure a future for the orcs. Morzog, Inkathu's right hand, believes this would betray their culture and anger their Gods. Normally an orc could challenge the chief to a duel to the death if they don't agree with them, but Morzog knows he stands no chance against Inkathu. Instead he has started gathering a following of orcs who would stand up against their leader.
For centuries the orcs have lived on the Murr Shore, but now it's all starting to fall apart for them, and their future is insecure at best.
