The Town of Vedrfolnir (King Tier Map)
Added 2021-11-19 13:01:26 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Let me present to you the Town of Vederfolnir, a custom map made for King Tier patron and Community Leader John Doe, aka Oreios on our Discord channel.
Deep in Mynn Forest lies the town of Vedrfolnir, capital of the Jarldom of Arendal and home of Jarl Arkyn. The road through the forest is dangerous and the nearby mountains is home to a giant bird of prey, and rumor says that Arkyn has control over it.
Vedrfolnir is by no means a secret city, but the roads that lead to it are dangerous and well protected, making it hard to reach for anyone that would try to assault it.
Recently the region has come under attack from hordes of goblins, leaving the nearby villages in ruins. Their people have come to Vedrfolnir, looking for shelter and protection. These people are welcomed outside the forests and escorted along the safest paths through the trees.
On most sides the town is surrounded by dense and dangerous forests, and the north are the foothills of the Geldenn Mountains, inhabited by various large birds of prey. The most dangerous of these creatures is a giant creature with a wingspan of some 30 meters. It lives in the mountains and terrorizes the creatures there. Some believe that it's the pet of Jarl Arkyn. Merely the idea of Arkyn turning his bird on an attacking force is enough to keep most invaders away.
