Ruined Castle (18x24)
Added 2022-02-08 13:54:51 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Let me present to you The Ruined Castle, the first map for the Ruins & Remnants theme.
Here was once a mighty castle, home to a powerful lord who ruled over a great kingdom. Now the kingdom has been forgotten, the lord is long dead and the castle a mere ruin. A pile of rocks and crumbled walls that once protected lords, ladies, maid and servants.
Today the kingdom of Burbry is the oldest kingdom in Wordal, but it was by now means the first. Before Burbry there was the Ryric Empire, a collection of small kingdoms around Lake Ryrmon. But even before those kingdoms it is believed that the Old Kings ruled over the land, mysterious being that were here long before men, or elves or dwarves. The remnants of their castles, cities and monuments are scattered throughout the continent. Some of these places are surrounded by concentrated pools of magic. Others are desolate of any forms of life, magical or otherwise.
