To Discord or not to Discord?
Added 2024-07-10 04:08:58 +0000 UTCI don't know if this is presumptive or not, but would any of you guys be interested in a Discord? If so, I can probably figure out how to create one. I know a lot of authors have their own Discord but they're usually more established by the time they do that. I'd love to hear your thoughts as this group is the most invested in my work.

I don't think it would be draining, but I wouldn't be able to watch it 24/7. When I'm at home I've usually got discord up on my PC but when I'm out and about I don't usually have time to check it or moderate.

If seeing the discussion and speculation and theorizing and similar would be something you'd enjoy that would energize you for your writing, you should start one! If you feel like it'd be a distraction, or the idea of real-time interaction with your readers sounds more draining than energizing, you shouldn't start one.
