Weekend Update (16/9/23)

Hey everybody! Although it's only been a few days since the last new vid (thanks as always for all the positive comments so far) I wanted to make sure to get this update out as there's been a few changes to the channel schedule. The tl;dr is that since the UK move we've been organizing a 2-week trip with my mum (who hasn't had time off work basically since I moved to the US back in 2018) that was going to happen at the start of next week, and as part of that I'd planned to get the Elemental video out the door just beforehand so there wasn't too much of an interruption in content. The thing is the video has kind of ballooned in scope as I've meditated more on past videos and Pixar in general, so between crunching on that and generally getting ready for the trip, it's become unrealistic for me to get this thing done by next week. I made the call to get things finished after the trip is done, after which we should be back to our regular schedule from early October. I just wanted to restate how glad I am that there's so much enthusiasm about the videos of the last few months - I've really been making a conscious effort to regularly put out videos that are entertaining and accessible but still stimulating for viewers, so the feedback has been very validating and I hope the trend can keep going once we're back.
