Some Notes on "The Lord of Blood Hill"

Honestly, I pondered for a long time whether to write about the process of establishing the territory. The process of building a territory or any force is inevitably tedious, because a leader needs to handle various internal affairs such as management streamlining, personnel arrangements, departmental divisions, technological advancements, and so forth. Typically, this phase lacks much dramatic tension, because stability is crucial for a fledgling power; if there's constant instability, most people would be deterred from getting involved in its development.
Thus, this section is destined to lack the character interactions and dramatic twists found in "The Path of Honor." However, for the Henwell, developing the territory is paramount. His goal is to become a powerful noble, and for nobles, the strength of their territory is the key measure of power, not personal valor or morality. After much deliberation, I decided to illustrate the initial development phase of the power.
In addition, as an apology and to continue offering enjoyment in the story for Sponsors, I plan to release a short story every day set in the Cthulhu world titled "Offering Joy To The Evil God." If anyone finds the upcoming chapters of "The Lord of Blood Hill" a bit dull, I encourage them to take a look at this new work. It’s packed with character interactions and offers a more relaxed narrative, ensuring it won’t be boring.
To better distinguish between the two fictions, chapter titles beginning with "TLOBH" are from "The Lord of Blood Hill," while those starting with "OJTTEG" belong to "Offering Joy To The Evil God."
