Did you know I used to change my hair almost every day?

As someone dealing with hair loss, finding a good synthetic wig was an important step in my preparations to publicly transition. And once I moved to the big city where it was more socially acceptable to have colorful hair, I went a little bit wild with it! Whenever I went to a convention, I'd bring several wigs so I could have a completely different style every single day.

Pandemic lockdown put a stop to that, unfortunately. And after months and months of isolation, I got used to the same low-effort hair every day—my trusty cyan-marine undercut. But at some point I wanted to mix things up, so I decided that for the whole month of February, I'd dig into my collection and pick a different wig every day and take a selfie with it. And since I skipped last year due to moving-related exhaustion, it was really important to me to resume the tradition this time around!
