What does this mod do?

HSSuimono is the integration of the Suimono water system, an asset to generate beautiful water surfaces.

Features

- Cool water surfaces with a lot of parameters (included as objects, make sure to use the resolver).

- Buoyancy objects (also included as objects).

- FX objects (splashes, ripples, mist, wake, bubbles... you guessed it, also included as objects).

Requirements (for first time users)

A fully updated game with the 630 patch (under "Game Update"). This is not necessary if you're using the Fakku version with the Extended DLC.

Illusion Plugin Architecture HSExtSave

Finally, this is not a requirement, but for everything to work correctly, LRE users should update to the newest version, 4.1.0 or above, here.

Any chance of running on HS2?

Look great! I'll have to try this out soon.

I don't have that wave problem myself but perhaps it's related to another issue I found. I can't promise anything for the texture and RE. Also, you really shouldn't touch the material with RE directly, as you can see it doesn't give good results and even I don't know what could happen if you mess too much with it.

Joan6694

Alright, thanks to more reports I managed to reproduce those issues myself (white pixels, flashing etc). Those are definitely not normal so I'll do my best to fix them or at least give a workaround

Joan6694

There some problem in reflection when i rotate the camera, I don't know how to explain it. If you rotate the camera, you will notice strange wave effects on the screen .... And i will be nice if there a possible use a different normal map with RE. Wen i change rendering queen with RE to 2500 value in Suimono_Object the water becomes a type of fog

MakotoYuki90

Indeed, it's quite a beast to taunt, and even I don't know how to do it properly yet. However, I definitely have reflection for characters, so the only thing I can say is to mess with and try to understand more of the settings. Not an easy task I know.

Joan6694

Okay, here's a short first impression using with LRE/IBL; the out of water camera effect is cool/ best water effect for underwater scenes/ looks nice on panorama or far away look-scenes. Close on with character hurts my eyes, higher shallow absorpion helps/ on every bright/white higlight where black pixels randomly generated/ screen twitches white continuously/ the foam is kinda meh and rather confusing (maybe should try with settings?) and don't know what to say about reflections, have character face front and no reflections, while with hilite water they are. Also documented features are scene interaction, which i don't get. In summary, for underwater scenes a 'must use' plugin, but close-up&above-water scenes with character or rather dense water scenes (like pool), i would stick with hilites water surfaces.
