House Party 0.7.6 (Beta)
Added 2017-11-02 18:44:47 +0000 UTCHey guys! Here's House Party 0.7.6 Beta! This update is mostly focused around bug fixes and polish, but there are a lot of interesting developments being introduced as well.
First off, you may notice the house is arranged and painted differently. We're preparing the game for our next story based around having a date night with Brittney, but we realized as we got into it that the house *looks* like people are having a party in it, what with alcohol, solo cups, and beer pong set up, etc...
We fixed this by redesigning the house to have more of a standard look, and we will be re-introducing the "party" elements down the line via story updates, so the custom stories will now have more of a say of how the house looks and is decorated.
This paves the way for us to begin writing new stories that will be available along-side the Original Story.

I had a couple of issues, some of them may be reported already, sorry for repeating them. 1) One run Katherine didn't spawn in kitchen at game start, she spawned in the small study (where she goes to do SMS spoofing) 2) Another run microwave spawned on the floor of kitchen, I guess it bounced on spawn. 3) Vickie had intercourse with player fully clothed. This happened after I used the console ("intimacy player end sexualact") to stop a previous intercourse in hot tub. She then left it, became fully clothed and I talked to her on the stairway to initiate again. 4) Graphics became weird for some reason. Previous version I played 1440x900 resolution on a 1080p laptop with hybrid graphics, it was fine. This build I tried the same settings, but graphics was noticeably grainy. At one point I alt+tabbed out of game and when I came back graphics was switched to 1080p. It looked really sharp but low FPS for my machine. 5) Diary cannot be interacted with at all and is slightly hovering. Thank you for extra story, was really happy with it

2017-11-06 15:48:24 +0000 UTC1. If anyone else has a problem with the camera not working, their Anti-Virus is blocking the game from saving pictures to the 'My Documents' folder. I found that with Avast, I needed to add the game as an allowed app under the "Ransomware Shield" tab. 2. Not sure that the flag on the Empty Vodka Bottle is quite right. I didn't get the option to collect it until after I'd given Katherine Rum, Rachel her Thermos, and bought weed from Frank. 3. The flask didn't spawn in the Study Desk drawers. I know where I'm supposed to be looking, and I found and opened the drawers. They're just empty. 4. Lastly, it doesn't seem all that intuitive to give the flask to Rachael to have her fill it. It is something you should remember if you're paying attention, but a reminder would be good too. If a pop-up or hint from Derek seems too obvious, I'd recommend having Rachael hold her thermos after you give it to her. It's a good visual hint, and you can always have her pocket it when she strips in her story. I mean, she does know she's in a video game after all.
