Wanted to share what I was working on nonstop for essentially the past 2 months! Here’s some of my studies that I’ve tattooed on fake skin.
In the beginning, it was so incredibly hard going from drawing on paper to actually using a tattoo gun on the fake skin. The realistic eye was my first “big practice study” and I remember hating how it turned out. Looking back now, it just shows where I started. And I’m happy about the results nonetheless.
There were weeks when I felt so discouraged and frustrated by my progress. But as I put in more practice, I’ve seen lots of growth in my shading, line work, and overall artistic skills as a whole. This entire process has been so challenging but deeply rewarding in the same breath!
I have also started tattooing real actual people! It’s been only a few weeks so I have been learning a lot along the way and hope to one day be able to tattoo like these studies but on real skin :) in the meantime, I’ll continue to work hard.
I’ll share more of the tattoos I’ve done on real people soon, once I get around to editing the endless pictures I’ve taken and see for myself how these tattoos are healing in real time. But for now, please enjoy!!
I practice new pieces every week at the studio so I will share more soon!

2024-11-09 14:55:44 +0000 UTCHaha no don’t be sorry! It’s a valid question. The fake skin I use is basically a mix between pig skin and synthetic materials. It feels like a flexible soft plastic almost. And for now, I’m doing much more simpler pieces on people at first to get used to tattooing real skin. They’re definitely not as detailed as my studies but hopefully I’ll get there one day soon :) I’ll definitely share pictures of actual tattoos soon! Yesss it’s been such a journey but I’m loving it so far. Thanks for letting me share it with you ♡

Are the tattoos you’re doing on people as detailed as your studies or what kind of things have you started out with? I’m sure we will see it in the pics you mentioned you’re editing so no worries, but just curious :) what a journey!!
