Very good, educational video, like all of yours I've watched! I've seen many fake proofs and some, like the ones you show in this video, are quite subtle and thus quite difficult to track down the flaw. I agree that the lesson is that there's no substitute for hard-core mathematical proof, though we can often get away with visual or handwaving "proofs".

At 0:41, it sounds like you say, "...it's an unravelled equator, though its length is..." To me at least, "so" would make more sense than "though" in this context.
