I think the birthday scene was beautifully shot, and looks like so much fun! My favorite scenes from this episode are the scene when they’re arguing about monopoly, cause it’s so relatable as well as Tao dancing for Elle, and I love the scene of Nick’s conversation with his mom.

2024-09-26 06:07:03 +0000 UTCI often say this is my favorite episode of the first season, and it’s mostly because of that speech that Nick gives explaining what he’s going through to Imogen. I think it is maybe the best description I’ve heard of what it’s like to discover the real self that you may have been hiding from not only the world, but possibly yourself. And Kit does a masterful job of making it sound like a real expression of what Nick is feeling and not just lines that have been written for him.
