Tavern Tech Issues

Hey everyone, we've had a couple of recurring issues lately that we are hoping should be resolved. If you're still having issues please check out the following:
Ads Showing Up in the Ad-Free Feed
If you are still hearing ads in the ad-free feed, we need you to help us track down and figure out what is going on. Once you’ve confirmed that you have added the private RSS feed to your podcast app, then please let us know the following information:
- What app are you using and have you contacted support for the app?
- We do not have a comprehensive catalog of every issue for every type of podcatching software out there. Providing this information may help us to narrow down your issue, but in some cases you may need to reach out to the app’s support team to get resolution of the issue.
- What ads are you hearing and where?
- Please tell us the specific episode(s) and ads you are hearing and where it lands in the episode (before, middle, or end).
- If you’re really an overachiever, you can give us an exact timestamp where the ads appear.
- Also note, the plugs for our guests and production bumpers (e.g. Earwolf) are NOT ads. We will always offer our guests the opportunity to promote their work and production credit will remain consistent.
Missing Content
- Signing up for a trial subscription should not limit your access to any of the content, and none of the seasons should have ads if you are using the private RSS feed.
- You may also want to check your welcome email, pull the private RSS link from there and put it back into your podcast app
- Google Podcasts seems to be causing some issues lately.
- It’s possible that a Google glitch is unsubscribing people from the podcast. The older episodes may not be showing up by default, but please check to see the app marked them “already listened.” Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do about this issue if you are using Google Podcasts, but there are a number of other podcast apps available out there if this one is giving you trouble.
