A quick update

I imagine most people here probably saw this coming from a mile away, but I've decided to shelf my webcomic, Hedgehog's Dilemma. Mainly it's because I flat out lost interest; I feel like I've drifted a bit too far from the characters emotionally, and just haven't been able to write them in a way that feels natural, the way it felt when I started back in 2022.

In addition to this, I've been busy with commissions, assignments for EFNW, and other projects that I'm not allowed to discuss just yet. Trying to juggle all of that is tough enough as it is, so trying to force myself to make a comic that I'm not very invested in on top of that just seems like a recipe for disappointment for everyone involved!

I'll still post sketches and WIPs from other projects here when I can, but I would warn against expecting any new comic updates for the foreseeable future. If you came here specifically for the comic and don't care for the other stuff I post, I will not be offended in the slightest if you decide to jump ship for now, so don't sweat it!

I'm hoping I can share some of the other stuff I'm working on soon, and I will continue to post sketches here as I have been. I do have some exciting things cooking with some other folks, and once things are a bit more solidified I promise to share it here!

And who knows, maybe one day Charlie and her friends will be back, in some form or another. But I don't want to string anyone along, so I'm choosing to declare the comic on hold for now. It just feels more honest that way.
