A reset? Sorta.

I was sorta haphazardly releasing these on my RSS feed (aside from the very last one in this set, that one is unseen as of this posting!) because I was unsure how these would fit into the existing continuity of the comic...and then I realized I'm literally the author and I'm just doing this comic for fun and I can write myself out of a corner however I want.
So yeah. Charlie's date with her new friend from the bodega went so horribly wrong that the date and several other details were erased from existence or altered. As you would expect. Completely normal occurrence, really.
It's probably not too big a secret, but honestly the main reason I did this little continuity shift was because I realized I was hammering way too hard on the whole dating aspect without having fully explored the characters as individuals. We sorta know Charlie and Rachael, but even then I feel like there's a little more room for growth. I wanna give the main cast some time to breathe and develop, and also I just don't want the comic to be solely focused on one relationship! So I copped out of the date and left myself room to play around with some more gag comics and shorter stories. Don't worry, Charlie will get herself back out there in the future. But she'll do other things too!
I'll probably start uploading these to my website sometime next week again, though I'll let the most recent comic breathe for a bit before I post that one publicly. It's been a bit since I gave y'all an early comic, I want to let everyone here savor it, even if it's kind of a stupid one.
As always, thank you for bearing with me! Again, I really don't want to promise that I'm gonna start writing comics consistently again, but I'm hoping that by giving myself a bit more freedom, I'll be less intimidated by the prospect. Stay tuned!
