Finally caught up and finished the series! What a wonderful time with Tom and Lyds that was. It was a good ending, too. Also, *I* think James took her to Silent Hill as a surprise on her last "holiday", killed her in a place she found peaceful - and then went into full denial, probably boozed around a lot, dated Maria who had a genuine if unhealthy thing for him for a bit, moved on... And then went on another emotional journey upon receiving the letter years later, as Silent Hill went to shit for unrelated reasons. Hallucinating most of what went on in an empty deserted town, probably.
