Drawing the X-Jet
Added 2016-06-07 07:14:42 +0000 UTCThe X-Jet from the short-run series "The X's" makes an appearance in the Nicktoons trailer (the X's themselves would have made an appearance if not for an abandoned scene, but more on that in a future post).
The pic on the left is a screen grab from the show's intro, as it's on the screen for less than a second. I didn't really feel like looking through 20 episodes of the show to find a decent pic, and I couldn't really find one through a Google search, but I feel I did a good job replicating it from that screenshot alone. With the lack of outlines, this would've been easier to create in Flash since it's vector based, but Photoshop's pen tool made it possible as well. I used to use it a lot for inking until I got a Cintiq.
