Ben Head Turn
Added 2017-10-16 16:00:03 +0000 UTCTeam Teen is back in production, and first thing I'm doing is making a rig of Ben Tennyson. Like the update I did for the Steven rig, it's meant to speed up the production process, so I won't have to redraw the face as much. Things like the eyes, ears, eyebrows, nose, and the hair on the back of his head will look pretty much the same at multiple angles.
Regardless, getting the shine of his hair right was a bit of a challenge, and involved multiple masks to create the effect. It might be simple just to draw new hair assets each time depending on the pose.
Also, viewers have always been split over which version of Ben to use. I use the Omniverse version, because of his larger selection of aliens, the fact that other fanfic series featuring Ben use it as well, and simply because Omniverse is my fav series.
