Sales Tax and Removal of Downloadable Files
Added 2020-06-26 16:00:07 +0000 UTCJust a heads up to all patrons that starting July 1st, certain goods you get for being a Patreon supporter will now have a sales tax attached. This all depend in which country or U.S. state that you reside, and considering what I offer as rewards, the majority won't be affected anyway. But you all deserve to be notified about this.
Also, and just to be sure, we removed the Downloadable File reward from the $5. Not only could that be possibly taxed, I figured it's time to remove it since it's really rare that any said files were made available in the first place.

I don't completely understand this. So creators would need to make their rates lower to make room for the tax, or higher?
