October 2019 Status Update: Changing Back to Monthly Patreon Campaign in 2020.

Thank you everyone who supported my Patreon for yet another month. I somehow managed to get a third paid post out at the end of the month, but it was very sudden. It’s made me look over my Patreon once again and honestly, I don’t believe a “pay-per-post” campaign is working out. I’ve been trying to balance requests with paid posts as well as life, but it’s been pretty bad since summer. I can’t remember the last time I made 5 paid posts for the month and the request pile, while I’ve come to be pretty okay with what I’ve been asked to draw, has just been increasing month after month, primarily because I have to stop to make paid posts. All in all, it’s really just been getting worse month after month.

So, in order to fix this, I’ve decided to switch back to a monthly Patreon at the beginning of 2020. Doing so will give me time to completely knock out my request pile without having to stop and work on something else. For the pledge tiers, here’s what I’ve come up with (naturally, the higher tiers have the same rewards as lower tiers):

• $2 tier: Access to sketch posts and voting polls. 
• $5 tier: Access to new Patreon exclusives as well as other exclusives posted within the same month.
• $10 Able to make suggestions for monthly voting polls and will get a free copy of any comic/image pack I release that month. 
• $20 tier: Access to sketch, illustration, and comic archives of past posts.

I will still be using the Dropbox posting method, however I’ll also be using the “Charge Upfront” option, so I’ll be fine with sending Dropbox links to new patrons upon joining (though you’ll need to contact me to send them). I’ll also be carrying over the “High End” patron list and will be adding the perk of “can make extra suggestions for monthly voting polls”. What’s nice is that, because I’ll be using the charge upfront option, new patrons can pledge over $100 to be added to the list, then immediately switch back to a lower tier. 

Anyway, that’s my plan for when I make the switch. I’m not sure what tiers patrons will be assigned to once I make the switch, however I do know that they’ll retain the same pledge amount equal 1 paid post. I’ll encourage people to edit and assign themselves to specific tiers, however I will still send out rewards according to pledge amounts. 

In other news, I plan to release the next image pack in November, along with bundles for Cyber Monday. Gonna try to knock out as much of the pre-2019 list and request pile as possible until 2020. Look forward to more pictures!
