What up boys. Every year there will be 2 national tournaments, the Inter-High and Spring tournament. Every prefecture(state) will have qualifiers, and the winning team(s) will go through to nationals. If the prefecture is bigger, there will be more slots for them. In Miyagi (Karasuno, Seijoh, Shiratorizawa etc.), there’s only one slot, so only the winner will go to nationals. Tokyo is bigger (more schools), so the top few teams can go, instead of just the winner. Bokuto’s team(Fukurodani) has been in nationals a few times, but nekoma hasn’t. In the Inter-High qualifiers(season 1) , shiratorizawa beat seijoh in the finals so they went to nationals, and it ended already. Now we’re competing for the place in the Spring nationals. If karasuno wins the qualifier tournament, they’ll go on to nationals to represent “Miyagi”. And if the Tokyo teams make it to the top 2/3, they will go to nationals to and karasuno can finally play nekoma in an official match.
