LL Show EP 2: Those Who Visit, Those Who Stay

*Reads from right to left.*

Today's post features the second episode of the Lusty Lamp Show! Boy, that's sure is a lot of extra effort to explain how characters end up in big boobie land. What other seemingly simple concept will turn out to be super overcomplicated? Tune in next time to find out!

-----------------------------------------------------------

Total Drawing Time: Apprx 20 HRs 40 MINs  (Pg1: 4 HRs 20 MINs, Pg2: 5 HRs 35 MINs, Pg3: 5 HRs 20 MINs, Pg 4: 5 HRs 25 MINs)

Like the hosts, I too, was genuinely surprised that this was the question most people wanted answered first, suspiciously so. It didn’t take long to come to the conclusion that people probably thought I was going to reveal a bunch of characters. The wording is part of the issue, but I think it’s also because nobody really gives any thought to why random characters from end up in these fantasy scenarios. It’s for this reason that this answer might genuinely surprise people.

I couldn’t tell you when I came up with the concept or why, but I think the closest thing to an answer would be to think of it as a pseudo “what-if” scenario. One in particular that was on my mind at the time was: “What if Ragyo Kiryuin had the chance to interact with her daughters without the Life-Fiber plot?” Ages ago, I remember coming across a series of pictures where Ragyo was actually a caring mother when Satsuki was a baby and if you look back at the Kill la Kill series as a whole, she never hated either of her daughters, at least in my opinion. So, I wondered what would happen if she got the chance to interact with them after calming down post the whole Life-Fiber debacle. In other words, I came up with the concept to fit in with my fanfic. A friend of mine likened the concept to a pseudo-heaven and they’re not far off the mark, I suppose. Incidentally, my head-canon is that Medusa from Soul Eater would end up as Raygo’s closest friend at the LLR, for similar reasons I won’t get into.

Lastly, some art quips, starting with the second page. Part of me feels guilty the charts are so basic, but not only do I not care too much for details like this, it’s also the first true example of how much extra effort I can’t really afford to put into these mini-comics. Even after saying that, I 100% expect to do way too much for one of these episodes in the future. Hell, the fact that this is one page longer that the first episode is proof enough!

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed this mini comic and commentary. Please be sure to leave a like, and/or comment below! Also, for those of the higher tiers, please be sure to be on the lookout for when I open polls for the questions to be answered!
