For anyone that's seeing this comment this late, an interesting thing to note about Law is that he based his devil fruit powers off of Corazon's. Corazon had that room like circle for silence, so that's why Law created his room power with his DF. He could've done any number of things but he decided to make it similar to Corazon's

Corazon in Spanish translates to heart, vergo was the first to have the heart seat amongst the executives that’s how he was the first corazon, roxinante is corazons actual name

I love that "I will survive" speech from young Doffy. The actor really delivered on that one.

Exactly, I was looking for this comment. Lycan is acting like Aokiji is a pacifist just because he’s a decent person. He just did what he felt he had to do. Aokiji basically confirmed his death if you ask me.

i agree we can say ppl don't die ( a lot) in one piece... But the one situation where ppl die the most is flashbacks, in almost every straw hats flash backs we have at least one death... Saul is Robin's flash back death.

Post Water Seven Arc, Aokiji talked to Robin on the other side of the wall during the Strawhats Party " I killed my friend that day". Confirms that he killed Saul, because their was no one else he froze during the Robin Flashback.

"People don't die in One Piece" That's almost true. The correct statement should be "People don't die in One Piece, except flashbacks, where anyone important that isn't in the present arc dies tragically."

Aokiji literally told robin Saul was a friend of his and cause he died for her it was his job to watch out for her. Thats why he let her survive. Dudes dead.

I forgot how compassionate Corazon can be showing unconditional love to Law like that. It's almost like him trying to find a cure for Law to live gave Corazon an important reason and deeper purpose to live too. Also Aokiji has been known to freeze people to the bone. So it would take a tremendous amount of haki to break out of that. Then again Saul is a giant so maybe that gave him some leverage. Who knows...

Corazon went through trauma when he was young so he understood laws pain. he knew deep down that law just wanted someone to understand him and that he was still a good child. He’s the realest. Shout out to corazon

I think Aokiji had to kill Saul because he knows Akainu would kill him if he didnt. Or his frozen body got shattered by the buster call

I think it was Akainu’s magma power and the heat that defrosted buggy and everybody else
