Bungee spider is a species of a giant spider that hunts by diving from an extremely high place and snatch up their unsuspecting prey. In addition to its regular sticky silk, it also produces special silk which is a hundred times stronger and more flexible than its regular silk. It attaches the special silk to its abdomen when they fall and the flexible silk will stretch then snap back pulling the spider up along with its prey. When it was unable to fully restrain the prey, it’ll let them go and let it fall to the ground to let gravity kill it before picking them up again.
This one is based on several real species of spider, but the dropping their prey part won't work for small insects, but for large creatures... that's gonna be deadly.
It took me a long time to finish those cliffs... But I love this composition so much~
