Blooming Gecko

Arborlacerta flosspina

Can be found in the tropical forest in the western continent, Blooming Gecko is a small tree lizard with a massive spine on its back. The spine structure can open to reveal an arrangement of bright-colored petal-shaped spines. Each petal has a sharp pointy end which is laced with deadly tetrodotoxin. It uses its beautiful spine structure to warn predators and to attract potential mating partners. Recently it was discovered that the toxin can be used as an ingredient to make a pain relief medicine and to treat some deadly diseases.

And good news, I manage to record the process of making this one, so after I finish editing it, I'll post it here as a bonus content :D

UPDATE:

Updated this cute gecko. This might not be an enemy your player would face, but it might be an interesting quest for lower-level parties, that have to explore the forest to find and collect its toxin. Or maybe to protect or investigate some illegal poaching of the Gecko
