Zarghoul is a subterranean predator that prowls the vast underground cave system beneath the Balshira mountain range and pine forest. This stealthy hunter relies on its incredibly sharp senses of hearing and smell to track its prey. It then uses an extra pair of arms that sprout from its back to grab hold of its quarry, utilizing a unique muscle structure that enables it to lock its claws in place. While it usually hunts smaller animals in the caves, it will sometimes come to the surface at night to stalk larger prey. When it finds a target, Zarghoul has a peculiar habit of obsessively pursuing and tracking that single animal, no matter what obstacles it encounters or how long it takes. Sadly, some of its victims manage to escape its relentless pursuit, while the Zarghoul itself may eventually succumb to starvation after weeks of futile pursuit because of its obsessive impulse.

UPDATE :
I just added a second page for Zarghoul with additional information about the creature and updated the stats to make it more dangerous and challenging as a solo creature encounter.
the files will be added to the Trial of Ink folder in the Vault post later.

This is for the long trek through unknown territory kinda adventure hook. Good descriptions of it's tactics sell this
