To the druids of the Circle of the Mountain, the earth is more than a foundation—it is a vast, living force, stretching far beyond the surface. Beneath the roots of the world lies an unseen wilderness, where mountains are born, and rivers of molten stone carve the land’s bones. In these deep places, where the Material Plane and the Elemental Plane of Earth blur, these druids hear the slow pulse of the world. They walk unseen paths, learning the patience of stone and the relentless power that shapes continents.

The Cragborn are proof of this bond—beings of raw, unshaped stone, called forth by those who speak the language of the ancients. Some say they are fragments of primordial titans, slumbering beneath the world's crust; others claim they are the mountain’s answer to a druid’s call, shaped from the land itself and moved by the will of the earth to protect its keepers. To defy a Circle of the Mountain druid is to battle the land itself—unyielding, shifting, and crushing all who stand against it.

I actually already did the illustration last month, but my schedule got pushed around a bit, and I ended up shelving this one until now. This time, the illustration features one of the Patron characters, Melinoe, the Keeper of Ruon, a character of Julian K.

You might also realize that this subclass has one feature that is also present in the previous subclass I made, Stoneguard. Although there are almost never cases where two subclasses share the same subclass feature, I just can't get rid of it, as it is the heart of the concept of being an Earth elementalist. So I decided to go for it.
